Unprecedented Times

Covid-19 pandemic across the World

It has been a strange few weeks as the Covid -19 pandemic has swept the world. Shutting down economies and life as we knew it. The home office has become the norm.

On the 22nd of March we took the decision to shut the office. We followed this decision by closing down all our sites on the 27th March once works had been completed where required and sites made safe.

We now work with only a skeleton team. Staff furloughed until we know the outcome of the initial 3 week lock down. We are hoping to get work schedules back on track once it is safe for everyone to return.

We currently have 1 project on site for a new dwelling that has been postponed and 30 live projects on the drawing board. All at various stages which we continue to work on. 3 new projects started prior to the shutdown and will be progressed as far as possible in the current situation.

Today the 6th of April we received notification that South Ayrshire Council planning staff are working from home. With limited access to office back systems delays are inevitable. Staff will not be performing site visits, understandably and it is expected that all current planning applications will be delayed.
